THE SCREEN PRINTING PROCESS
The screen printing process is used to decorate and mark many commercial and industrial products. The standard application for screen process is the direct printing of flat or straight sided cylindrical and conical shapes. Some examples are: promotional products, water bottles, cosmetics containers, drink ware, electronic components, t-shirts, signs, etc. Utilizing the proper ink, a wide range of substrates can be decorated, such as: plastics, glass, wood, fabric, TPE, metals, ceramics and more. In combination with state of the art equipment, our experienced crew is able to maintain a high volume production level with outstanding quality control. Our experience in the contract screen printing industry spans over 30 years.
PAD PRINTING
Pad process printing is the compliment to screen printing. Typically, the pad process is used for items that cannot be screen printed, either in an efficient manner, or at all. This means items with odd contours, uneven surfaces, steep radiuses, and hard to reach recesses. Examples of such items would be: golf balls, Christmas ornaments, lighters, calculators, cup holders, flashlights, control knobs, internal components in machines, and electronic housing units. The basic principle of the pad print process, is the use of a silicone pad and etched plate to transfer the image instead of a screen and squeegee. Like the screen process, our team is equally proficient with the pad printing method. Between the two processes, there is nothing we can’t decorate.
